SCOTTISH PHOTOGRAPHY HIDES AUTUMN WORKSHOP

Join Jose this Autumn for an amazing chance to photograph an amazing variety of iconic British species over the course of a weekend

For this weekend in November we will have complete and exclusive use of all Alans fantastic hides in the beautiful Galloway countryside

So here we go, this is what on offer to photograph….

The woodland hide….. Sparrowhawks, Red Squirrel, Jay, Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker and a whole host of woodland birds

Reflection pool hide complex… superb for Red Squirrels both static and jumping, and woodland birds

Kingfisher Hide….. photograph Kingfishers perched and diving metres in front of the hide

Water Rail …. this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get extremely close to these very shy and secretive birds.

Buzzard …. a great opportunity to photograph a very shy and nervous bird of prey, in a great location

Pine Marten…. spend an evening in the Marten hide to photograph an animal that is very rarely seen, never mind photographed.

Tawny Owl …. return to the Woodland hide in the evening to photograph these two iconic species under lights.

Otter …. an awesome experience to photograph wild river Otters feet in front of the camera

This really is a special Weekend, when you add the cost up of using all the hides individually, the price we are offering seems just ridiculous, but its real and it’s bound to be snapped up quickly.

The cost of this weekend is ONLY £450, for exclusive use of all these hides, plus my guiding for the weekend, and also Alan who owns the hides. Not included is accommodation or travel.

Accommodation is readily available in the area, ideally you will need to be staying local to the hides which are in or around the Gatehouse of Fleet, Kirkcudbright area, where there are Bed and Breakfasts and Hotels to suit all budgets, advice can be given. 

This workshop is timed for Autumn to give the opportunity for unique images of iconic British wildlife in the colourful autumnal environment, so suitable clothing will be required for sitting in hides throughout the day and evening… such as thermal jackets and trousers, thermal boots or wellies, thick socks etc.
