Buzzard Photography Workshop
Buzzards are a bird that can notoriously difficult to get close to, never mind close enough to photograph, but for this workshop we will take you a lot closer than was ever thought possible , and you will have the opportunity to photograph wild Buzzards as they feed on a road kill deer carcass.
Located in the stunning Galloway countryside, beside the River Tarff, the workshop will located in a hide that will give you amazing shots of the Buzzards as they come in to feed, and also the possibility of passing Kingfishers.
The Workshop will start after breakfast once the light is good enough, through until late afternoon when the light fades.
In terms of Camera equipment, you will require a lens with a full frame equivalent focal length of 300-500mm, with a bean bag or gimbal on a plate to support it.
When the Buzzards are really feeding in earnest , it is not unusual to have 2/3 birds squabbling over the prey, and gives the opportunity for great action shots.
Jose will have exclusive use of the hide for each day, and booking one or more days is flexible.
As above, if the Saturday is booked at £139, additional days will be discounted to £109. Or you may just wish to book a single day at £139
This really is a unique opportunity to photograph these shy and elusive birds up close, Jose will be on hand all day to guide and assist you in achieving the best possible images.
